According to the latest information obtained by several sources, G2 Esports and M80 are in talks regarding the transfer of the team's star Mario "malbsMd" Samayo.
Dust2.us was the first to report this information, and then HLTV, according to their report, came to the same knowledge.
The young player from Guatemala has stood out as the best individual in the ranks of the M80, and as one of, if not the biggest young talent in the NA region right now, achieving an incredible 1.32 rating during the first half of 2024.
For now, there are no concrete indications of who malbsMd would replace, although unverified sources claim that G2 will leave two players, captain Ramus "HooXi" Nielsen and Nemanja "nexa" Isaković.
MalbsMd has been competing since 2018, and during his career he also played for Inifinity Esports, Team oNe Esports, 00 Nation and LOS before arriving at M80 in July of last year where he quickly stood out as a leading figure in the team.
According to also unconfirmed information, his transfer could cost around 500,000 dollars.
