HISTORIC VICTORY FOR ETERNAL FIRE, HEROIC FALL OUT

The fourth round of the main stage of the PGL Copenhagen Major took place in the form of a great victory for Eternal Fire against Virtus, making them the first Turkish team to advance to the quarterfinals of a Major. Cloud9 defeated Na'Vi in the CIS derby, and Heroic bid farewell to the tournament after an unexpected loss to paiN Gaming.

Eternal Fire continues to improve the quality of their play day by day, and their latest victim was Virtus.pro, meaning they defeated the last three Major champions to reach the quarterfinals (Vitality, FaZe and finally VP).

The Russian team managed to get their pick Overpass 13-6, but EF took complete control in the sequel and celebrated with two convincing victories 13-6 Vertigo and 13-7 Inferno, and the star of the team was the leader Engin "MAJ3R" Kupeli, often a contested player who at the age of 33 experienced his greatest success in his career and brought immense joy to Turkey.

Vitality struggled properly against Complexity, they took the lead after two overtimes on Inferno where the final score was 19-16, only for Complexity to take Vertigo 13-7, and on Anubis it seemed that the American team was close to victory, only to played much weaker, which Vitality was able to take advantage of and triumph with a score of 13-10.

Valeriy "b1t" Vakhovskiy lost against his former teammates in the battle for the quarterfinals, after exchanging the first two maps (14-16 Mirage, 13-6 Ancient), Cloud9 destroyed Na'Vi 13-2 on the decisive map Overpass and fully deserved your ticket to the playoffs.

FaZe Clan managed to defeat Imperial in a match where we saw all three maps with an identical 13-8 score. FaZe took the lead on Nuke, lost Anubis, and then took Mirage against a Brazilian team that had perhaps the toughest pairings in the entire Major, so they can't be too pleased with their performance when the line is drawn.

G2 defeated ECSTATIC, but not without a huge fight. They took Inferno 13-7, but then managed to squander an 8-1 advantage on Vertigo where ECSTATIC won 13-11. Fortunately for G2 fans, the team recovered against Anubis, where they won 13-8 and thus came one step closer to the playoffs.

Today, G2 is fighting for the quarterfinals against the Russian team Virtus.pro, FaZe Clan is going to Complexity, while paiN will try to make another big surprise, this time against the Na'Vi team.
