Maikil "Golden" Selim is the new addition to the EYEBALLERS team where he will continue his career after his previous team GODSENT shut down.
EYEBALLERS removed Casper "SHiNE" Wennerberg from the first team two weeks ago, and in his place comes the experienced Golden. The founder and leader of the organization, Jesper "JW" Wecksell, played with Golden on the Fnatic team, and together they achieved several great successes, including winning the elite tournament IEM Katowice 2018, when Fnatic managed to climb to the top of the HLTV team rankings.
Golden later played for Cloud9, then returned to Fnatic, and GODSENT he initially coached, before switching to a playing position in August of last year.
After the failure at the Major qualifiers, GODSENT was left without a main sponsor, which led to the closure of the organization, but Golden managed to get back on his feet very quickly and find a new environment.
Golden will make his debut for EYEBALLERS on April 3 when they meet BIG in the closed EU qualifiers for TWC 2024.
