PSG Talon and Team Whales advanced to play-in play-offs

PSG Talon and Team Whales finished top of Groups A and B of the 2023 World Cup play-in stage and are now just one win away from qualifying for the main stage of the competition.

Today we had the opportunity to watch two very exciting matches at the LoL Esports World Championship, and the bet was a guaranteed placement in the playoffs to go to the main part of the tournament.

PSG Talon and LOUD fought hard in the first game. Just when one team gained an advantage, the opponent would find a way to get back into the game, but as the game progressed, PSG Talon was more and more specific and did better in team fights. Yu "JunJia" Chunchia gained an early advantage in the jungle, which allowed him to aggressively rush into battles with Jarvan, and it was he who made the biggest difference with great picks on opposing carries. Huang "Maple" Yitang was also excellent, regularly finding several opposing players with ult at the start of every important fight.

In the second game, PSG made too big a difference in the top lane at the start, from which LOUD failed to recover. Park "Croc" Jonghoon was invisible on Kha'Zix throughout the entire game, nothing went the way of the LOUD players, and after 32 minutes of play PSG Talon took a convincing 23-4 victory.

This result from Group A means that if Team BDS manages to get second place in Group B, it will be PSG Talon who will be their opponent to progress, which is a fact that should worry European fans when you consider the performance that PSG has shown so far. .

All this was just a prelude to what followed, which was the top duel between the Asian teams CTBC Flying Oyster and Team Whales who won the hearts of the crowd yesterday with a victory against BDS. Once again, Team Whales lost the first game and once again managed to pull off a turnaround, demonstrating how much of a difference it makes when playing on two wins.

Their players did not panic after the defeat, they responded fiercely to the opponent and leveled the score, so that in the decisive third game both teams gave their best and tried everything in their power to win the victory, but at the end of the day there can only be one winner and that was deservedly Team Whales this time.

CFO will most likely play BDS to advance, unless Japan's Detonation FocusMe can pull off a surprise and send the LEC team home earlier than anyone expected.
