The Korean team Hanwha Life Esports enters the next LCK season with great reinforcements, after they officially confirmed the arrival of the trio from the Gen.G teams.
Hanwha Life Esports benefited the most from the collapse of the current Korean champion, whose ranks were strengthened by top laner Choi "Doran" Hyeonjoon, jungler Han "Peanut" Wangho and support Yoo "Delight" Hwanjoong.
This trio dominated the LCK league last season, and as part of the Gen.G team, they were one of the two main favorites for the title at the 2023 World Championship, where they were unexpectedly stopped in the quarterfinals.
HLE retained the carry players from last season, namely last year's world champion mid laner Kim "Bunny" Geonwoo and ADC Park "Viper" Dohyeon who rose to fame as a Griffin player and returned to HLE last year after spending two years in EDG with whom he became the champion of the planet in 2021.
When looking at the squad with which HLE enters the next season, it is not surprising why they will be one of the main candidates to stop the mighty T1, and already last season they showed signs of quality with the old lineup, when they finished the group stage of the season in third place with 12- 6 nearly, before they were stopped in the playoffs by KT Rolster.
HLE was one match away from going to WC 2023, but they lost the decisive play-off match against Dplus KIA who were better with a score of 3-1.
Once again, Hanwa Life Esports in the next LCK season will be:
Top lane: Choi "Doran" Hyeonjoon
Jungle: Han "Peanut" Wangho
Mid lane: Kim "Bunny" Geonwoo
ADC: Park "Viper" Dohyeon
Support: Yoo "Delight" Hwanjoong
