Rekkles left T1, returns to Europe

Famous LoL player Martin "Rekkles" Larsson has left T1 whose academy he played for last season in the LCK second division where they finished fourth.

Once one of the best AD Carry players in the world, Rekkles lost his form over time, which threatened his place in the LEC teams, and after the episode in Karmine Corp, he played again in the Fnatic team, where he also tried out as a support last year.

In his new position, he continued to play in Korea, and this year he received an offer to join the first team as a substitute during the 2024 World Cup, where T1 managed to defend the title of world champion and reach a record fifth trophy. Although Rekkles did not get the chance to play, as he himself said this was a huge experience for him.

He stated in the official statement that he needs to be with his family and return home to Sweden, because he has been away from his home for almost 12 years, which left a big mental mark on the player who very early became a superstar of the European LoL scene.

Rekkles also said that he got the opportunity to play from home, which means that next year we will not see him in the LEC, but that he will play in one of the regional leagues, but for now there is no indication of which team it is.

Rekkles is the first player to have 1000 and 2000 kills in the LEC, the second player to reach 300 competitive wins, and the third player to play 500 matches in the EU LCS/LEC. He is also the record holder for the number of LEC MVP titles with four won MVP trophies and the record holder for the most pentakills - as many as ten. He also has four LoL Champions of Europe titles and one EMEA Masters title.">Famous LoL player Martin "Rekkles" Larsson has left T1 whose academy he played for last season in the LCK second division where they finished fourth.
