After a long period of negotiations, Astralis and Heroic managed to verbally agree on the transfer of Martin "stavn" Lund and Jakob "jabbi" Nygaard.
As HLTV learns, big rivals - Danish esports organizations Astralis and Heroic, are close to the long-talked-about transfer. The duo who found themselves at the epicenter of an unprecedented scandal that we wrote about in detail in this text are close to ending up in Astralis, which was their original plan after they did not receive offers that suited them in Heroic.
Although between Heroic and Astralis there was a history of unsportsmanlike moves and dubious transfers of players and experts from one team to another and vice versa before this case, they managed to find a common language and agree on the transfer of a player whose sitting on the bench would have cost Heroic dearly in the long run.
There's no doubt that Heroic isn't happy about Astralis "taking" two players who cost them their team leadership along the way, but the best they can do in this situation is to take their transfer money and continue working on rebuilding their own squad.
Meanwhile, Astralis must decide who to keep among the three players who are in line to leave the team to make room for new players. For now, the only thing that is clear is that team legend Nicolai "virgin" Reedtz and captain Benjamin "blameF" Bremer are staying, while the fate of the trio of Johannes "b0RUP" Borup, Victor "Staehr" Staehr and Christian "Buzz" Andersen is unknown.
What will be particularly strange to watch in this situation is Astralis at the BLAST Fall Finals tournament where two of the five players appearing for the team will play even though they know this is probably their last tournament in the shirt of the Danish CS giant.
