Martin "STYKO" Styk has returned to Apex, with whom he signed a short-term contract until the middle of next year.
With the departure of IGL's Damjan "kyxsan" Stoilovski to Heroic, Apex was left without a direct pass to the EU RMR for the PGL Copenhagen Major, which was guaranteed to them as long as they had a minimum of three players from the lineup that achieved a top 4 finish at the Major in Paris .
Apex took advantage of the fact that STYKO still hasn't found a new team and only two months after leaving the team they bring him back for a short period of time.
STYKO, who became famous playing for mousesports, then SMASH/GODSENT/FunPlus Phoenix, came to Apex at the beginning of last year and in the upcoming period played a large number of tournaments for the team, and as a crown of work and effort came an unexpected placement in the semifinals of the last CS:GO Majora, when future winner Vitality in front of the home crowd managed to stop Apex from making an even bigger surprise.
STYKO was removed from the starting line-up in October, and Apex Academy player Adne "sense" Fredriksen took his place.
This means that in the coming period we will see Apex in the following lineup:
Joakim "jkaem" Myrbostad
Tim "nawwk" Jonasson
Martin "STYKO" Styk
Aleksandar "CacaNito" Kyulukoski
Adne "sense" Fredriksen
Torbjorn "mithR" Nyborg - coach
