Tonight, Valve updated the points for the regional CS2 team rankings, revealing who will be directly invited to the closed RMR tournament qualifiers for the PGL Copenhagen Major.
And while a large number of teams will have to fight through the open qualifiers that in the past have been able to stop some really big names in CS:GO esports, some of the famous teams can breathe a sigh of relief because they found themselves in a position to fight directly from the closed qualifiers.
Eight teams in total will receive invitations to the closed qualifications for the EU RMR A and B groups, namely:
EU RMR A: Natus Vincere, Cloud9, Virtus.pro, BIG, Bet Boom, 9 Pandas, 3DMAX, SAW
EU RMR B: MOUZ, Team Spirit, Eternal Fire, Astralis, Aurora, FORZE, Preasy, 1WIN
In North America, the closed qualifiers will be played by: Complexity, M80, Nouns, Evil Geniuses, Badass, BOSS, Party Astronauts, Unjustified
While in South America they are near the top in terms of points: MiBR, 9z, paiN, Red Canids, Imperial, Fluxo, BESTIA, Sharks
In Australia, Grayhound, Rooster, VERTEX and Looking For Org have the most points, and in China - TheMongolz, ATOX and Eruption. Finally, in the Middle East, TRAFFIC Tashkent will receive an invitation.
Of course, changes may occur if some of the teams do not gather the team in time, as is potentially the case with Evil Geniuses.
The closed qualifiers for the EU RMR tournaments will be played from January 18 to 21.
