IEM Sydney: FaZe finishes off ENCE 13-0 with victory on Anubis

Complexity and FaZe advanced to the semifinals of the IEM Sydney 2023 tournament with convincing victories, and FaZe's triumph will be remembered as the first 13-0 victory on CS2 LAN.

What is particularly impressive about the triumph of the FaZe Clan team is that they achieved a "perfect victory" against the second best team in the world according to the HLTV ranking.

FaZe, which started with a defeat against GamerLegion, had to beat Vitality in the first battle for survival, and they succeeded even though few gave them a chance against what many consider the best team in the world. After that, they beat NaVi, and then GamerLegion in the rematch, and although they played really well at times in these matches, we also saw flaws within the team, which is why there was little to indicate what was to come.

Already on the Nuke map, we saw that FaZe entered the match in an extremely high mood. They took eight runs on the T side and conceded only one to their opponents. The convincing 13-5 victory was a great prelude for Anbuis, the pick of the ENCE team who surely expected revenge on the second map.

Instead, a total deluge occurred. ENCE could not match a better rival at any moment, and the FaZe team was led by Russel "Twistzz" Van Dulken with a 2.32 rating and 116.8 damage per round.

FaZe and MOUZ will fight tomorrow from 10:30 a.m. for a place in the finals, and before that, from 07:30 a.m. we watch G2 Esports and Complexity in the first semi-final clash, of course with a live broadcast on Arena Esport TV and the YouTube channel.
