OG completed the starting five by bringing in Israeli Nikita "HeavyGod" Martynenka from the Endpoint team.
HeavyGod played for several smaller crews and mixes before joining Endpoint in October 2022 where he spent a little over a year. Although he did not have the opportunity to play in the biggest tournaments with the team, he showed high quality of play and great talent, which allowed him to break through to OG.
Although playing for OG is a big opportunity for him, we should not forget the fact that OG has been in a big scoring crisis for a long time and they have recently gone through new changes in the team, so we can only guess what kind of results await them in the future.
OG has currently fallen to the 42nd place in the HLTV rankings, they are far from the top 20 ranking, which is a minimum for a team that has invested as much in CS esports as they have, but it seems as if OG has somewhat lost its identity and compass and that they will it will take a lot of time and effort to make them shine again.
In January, OG expect the qualifications for the Major and then the group stage of the BLAST Premier Spring tournament, where we will see how well the team fits together, at least initially.
The team now consists of:
Nils "k1to" Gruhne
Maciej "F1KU" Miklas
Lulian "regali" Harjau
Bram "Nexius" Campana
Nikita "HeavyGod" Martynenko
Casper "ruggar" Due - trainer
Dion "FASHR" Derksen - reserve
Abdul "degster" Gasanov - reserve
